Reliable West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee has called on Twitter for young winger Nathan Holland to be given an opportunity following a brilliant individual goal for the U23s against Derby County on Monday, and Irons fans agree with him.
Time to give this fella a go on the wing! Your classic skilful winger who takes people on! Nothing to lose, especially with Lanzini now out https://t.co/DwD5YfXG3C

The 20-year-old has been in decent form but hasn’t made a single first-team appearance this term, despite the trip to Manchester United on Saturday being the third time he’d been on the substitutes’ bench during the current campaign.
Manuel Lanzini played out wide at Old Trafford but was taken off with a groin injury, which may leave Manuel Pellegrini with only Felipe Anderson, Michail Antonio and Grady Diangana to pick from on the flank for the visit of Leicester City to the London Stadium at the weekend.
Diangana in particular has had plenty of opportunities this season but has often struggled to deliver.
ExWHUemployee clearly believes that it is time for another youngster in Holland to get his chance in the starting XI in the coming weeks, and the following Hammers supporters think he’s on to something.
While one said “chuck him in for the last few games of the season”, another said “he’s exactly what we need at the moment”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Chuck him in for last few games of the season he looks a fantastic prospect

With Lanzini injured again and Nasri and Wilshire not likely to feature again … put him in the squad for last games of season

Body movement and finish in this video reminds me of Ryan Giggs. If his half as good as him we need to give him some minutes soon.

He’s exactly what we need at the moment abit of positivity to lift the crowd by going past someone looks like he has a fair amount of end product Aswell as he’s scored a lot of goals at that level

Maybe we could put Holland on one wing and Diangana on the other with Anderson moving out to the CAM. He likes floating around there a bit anyway. It wouldn’t hurt to experiment a little bit at stage of the season now would it?

Geezer looks class. His time should be now.

Gets the nod over Diangana in the squad for me, got a bit more about him. Would also play him over the likes of Perez.
