Manchester City fans on Twitter have been busy slamming Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, after the German commented on the manner of their victory over Fulham in comparison to his own side’s success over to Cottagers.
The Cityzens beat Scott Parker’s men 2-0 recently, whilst the Reds recorded a narrow 2-1 victory, and Klopp said: “They won 2-0 against Fulham. We won 2-1 against Fulham, because we made a mistake that we usually don’t make. Both City goals against Fulham came from errors but well done in those situations.”
442oons have charted the entire career of Man City’s main man Sergio Aguero through song in the hilarious video below…
There isn’t much animosity in what the former Borussia Dortmund boss said about Pep Guardiola’s side, although City fans haven’t taken too kindly to his words as they somewhat imply that City were gifted their goals against Fulham.
The main feeling from the City fanbase is that Klopp is feeling the pressure of this tense title race, although only the last few games of the season will determine that.
Just one point separated Liverpool and City at the top of the table going into the weekend in what is the most exciting title race in recent years, so let’s see what the Cityzens supporters have been saying on Twitter about Klopp’s words…
?️ Jurgen Klopp:
“How many people actually watch all 90 minutes of City games? They won 2-0 against Fulham, we won 2-1 against Fulham [two weeks earlier] – because we made a mistake that we usually don’t make. Both City goals against Fulham came from errors.”#MCFC? pic.twitter.com/TIjKrbIASa

And yet your goal against Spurs came from an error as have winners in 3 other games this season. Weird man

Water is wet, Fulham are atrocious and Klopp always looks for excuses. Nothing new here.

Wow this guy is definitely not feeling any pressure

This guy’s stupid utterances is more reason I want him to end the season trophy less. “How many people watch city” and city have more average home attendance than your team anfield atmosphere lol ?

The goofy one can’t understand the constant pressure we apply to teams creates mistakes. It’s not rocket science.

Flappin. When do you ever hear Pep talk about Liverpool? You don’t. Because he’s elegant and interested only in self-improvement, quality of football and his players. Klopp and Salah are made for each other. Insecure, bitter, conceited + self-centred. Concentrate on yourselves ?

The ramblings of a clown feeling the pressure.

The fact is City played in second gear throughout. It was like a training match, where as Liverpool had a game on their hands.
